disc priest/ rogue/ mage all work well together in 2v2 setups like , disc/mage, disc/rogue, and rogue/mage. good CC followed by lots of support by each class, draining system, counter melee, and caster....it's just good in all!

disc/rogue/mage...think about it

My friends and I have had a "trash" 2v2 team that we use for practicing, and a 3v3 team for when we're on a hot winning steak. In 2v2, seemed like ret pally and disc priest was an amazing combo, as both the ret pally and disc priest have their own forms CC/stuns to control the opposing team. However, disc and ret pally work best with fury warrior in 3v3. Warrior and priest both have "fears," and the ret pally has a few stuns. Warrior has hamstring and such to hold back the melee dps, and since IN MY OPINION, ret pallies/fury warriors have among the best dps in the game, both of them can quickly clear out the other team. Warrior usually uses his "fear" first, then when the other team regroups together (assuming they are MOSTLY melee) then priest uses their fear. This provides a long time for the team to be incapacitated while the dps can do their damage. Disc priests reflective shields and quick healing penance can keep the group alive with almost no time spent concentrating on healing. Priest should keep main heals on warrior, and if the ret pally is taking to much damage to heal him efficiently, he can just bubble and heal, then jump back into the action. Disc priests have a long survivability IF THEY KNOW HOW TO PLAY. All together, this 3v3 team combination has set our record to 30-5, or 6-1. Not the best rating, but a still a good one.

*note*
-I find the best place to heal the group is right beside the melee dps. You can fear the group, and if the healer gets ganged on by dps, the melee dps will be right there to rip them off of you =]
