What Are The Death Knight Requirements?

I’m excited about the new expansion and being able to make a death knight but I heard there are some requirements. What are they?
I can’t wait to create my own Death Knight as well and like you I am ready for the expansion to be released yesterday! Luckily, there are not many requirements in order to create a Death Knight.
Since it is Blizzard’s first (of hopefully many…) hero class you can only have 1 per REALM and you must have a character on your ACCOUNT that is level 55+.
This pretty much means that you will be able to create a Death Knight on a new realm even if you don’t have any previous characters there as long as one character on your entire account is at least level 55.
So as you can see the requirements are not a big deal at all if you have played WoW for a little while.
There’s tons of new information coming out of the gate from the WotLK beta and like anything that is in beta…it’s subject to change. Although the Death Knight requirements have been included on the main WoW website.

Currently, death knights are only be available to create on servers that a player already has a level 55 on. I dont know if that was a change after you gave your answer, but thats where it stands atm. Possibly to stop people smamming dk’s on all the servers =P
Death Knights can be created on any server, I have three, try it and see.
