Well, when I was just Friendly I’d get one blue and two green gems from Gehze. Now he gives me the occasional purple gem, being exalted. A Jewelcrafters dream. but this guide got me to exalted very quickly, most awesome!

As Nick said the gem guy is in Nagrand, this is a reference as to where he is. In the bottom right hand corner of nagrand there’s a big stone structure thingy that should appear on your main map. Above that is a consortium outpost, also visable on your main map. In there is a bloke with a blue mark above his head that gives you gems when you speak to him. You can go get some more gems every month. The rarity of the gems you recieve is based on how good your rep is e.g. at honored you get 2 green gems while at revered you get a blue gem and 2 greens. Hope you lot can find this guy.

Yes, you get gems every month. There’s a guy in Nagrand, the same area as the beads turn in, that gives you the gems. The quest is Membership Benefits. I’ve heard of people getting nice blue (Dawnstones, Talasites, etc.) gems once they hit exhalted.

You can also use the ethereum prison keys that drop while grinding insignias at the heap. You can use these for a follow up quest but if not interested in the follow up quest simply use them to open up the prison bubbles in the staging grounds. The majority of releases are a lvl70/71 mob, kill it and collect the prisoner ID tags. Hand these in for a bonus 250 rep.
When I looked in my keyring after grinding Insignias I noticed I had 18 of these keys. After opening prisons this took me through revered and part way toward exalted.
(In the opening of the cells I also looted 6 blues and a bunch of greens)

Good catch Sneazy! They don’t send you the gems but you can get them from Gehze once a month. So you have to go talk to him in order to get the gems.
