How Can I Get 1000 WoW Gold For My Flying Mount?
Posted on April 27, 2007 by ApadweI just started enjoying the Burning Crusade and it's really nice to see more World of Warcraft gold drop but on the other side everything costs so much more. I'm level 61 right now and I can't seem to keep any gold on hand. How in the world am I supposed to get 1000g to get my WoW flying mount?
Ah, yes. World of Warcraft gold seems to run plentiful in Burning Crusade and so does the "cost of living" as well. I'm sure there are tons of great WoW gold grinding spots available but I don't think you will need to utilize them this early in leveling to 70.
At level 61 you really just need to focus on leveling and once you hit level 70 the gold will be there as long as you follow a couple of tips.
First off, don't waste time purchasing items from the auction house for your level. I know I did this on the way to level 60 to help keep me in decent gear while leveling but you will not want to do this for the level 60-70 grind. At this point it really is just a waste of precious WoW gold.
Next thing to be aware of is try to keep your consumable buying pretty low. One item you will want to get is the Everlasting Underspore Frond. Don't worry….it's a quest item that basically gives you free food. The only catch is you can make 10 every 12 hours but it still is pretty useful.
While leveling you also want to pay attention to your gathering skill. This really is focused on the skinning skill as it can be a huge source of extra income for you. I would skin everything I could while leveling and it make me some nice amounts of gold. I'm sure this can still be useful for other gathering skills as well. Just make sure you have your tracking on and pick up what you can.
Vendor trash = gold goodness! Another great thing about the expansion is the price of vendor trash. It is easy to find grey items no one wants and sell them off to a NPC for some nice extra change. Get 18 slot bags ASAP to help you hold all this junk when leveling. You will find yourself easily emptying out your bags to the vendors for a lot of WoW gold.
The tips listed above are ones that I used on my leveling spree from 60-70 and when I hit level 70 I had 2,500 gold on me. Plenty of money to buy the flying mount and even enough to give my brother for his flying mount as well.
Oh yeah….you could find someone to level with that does the above and borrow gold from them.
