Am I Missing WoW Outlands Quests When Leveling?

Posted on May 14, 2007 by Apadwe

It seems that I'm running low on quests to do in the Outlands. I started the Outland quests at level 58 and now I'm level 68 but questing in Netherstorm. I haven't really instanced at all yet when i ask my other friends they too told me that they started Outlands at 58 and didn't instance much. However most of them made it to being level 70 without even finishing Blade's Edge.

Am i missing quests to do or am I doing something wrong with my character?

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. More than likely there are quests being missed and there is nothing wrong with your character. I know when I started in Outlands I was level 60 and didn't hit level 70 until questing in Netherstorm. I can't really see how they hit 70 in Blade's Edge but then again I did miss a lot of quests.

It is extremely hard in Outlands to hit every quest in every area as there are tons and TONS of quests available to do. Heck, I still have my quest log full and there are still tons of quests I haven't even done just yet. (Those quests are really good for gold at level 70…hint…hint)

If you are running low on quests in Netherstorm remember that you could always head to Shadowmoon Valley and do quests there. That will leave you with a whole new area to do quests at and there are a lot to do in that area!

Your friends may also had more rest state available than you. They might have logged in and played through the rest state, then stopped and waited for it to build right back up before leveling again.

Bottom line is don't worry about it being level 68 in Netherstorm is actually right at the level World of Warcraft wants you to be. Some people hit 70 earlier but with the amount of quests available it is extremely hard not to miss quests. Just keep on truckin' towards level 70 and you will be there before you know it!
