i disagree with using afliction for pve although u get that few extra seconds of time i find demo better because the felguard acts as your own personal tank… i find affliction better for pvp… my lock now 72 (havent got to raids yet so im not sure how ud want to do specs for raiiding (im assuming destruction and demo would be best) has died alot less often with demo because i no longer have to worry about taking agro… i love affliction and demo i have them 2 as my dual spec… but for pve i find demo WAY better…. i can single handedly take on elites a few lvls higher with my felguard… (i heal and dps my felgurd tanks)but i mainly use affliction for bg and if there is a player anywhere else aroun…. but thats just my oppinion i hope u can somewhat agree…

Deanna – I’d say it’s because he’s a warrior. personally, I love affliction, but all the other builds are there for your enjoyment, so if you like being demology, then play it.

Hey guys. I just kinda started, and I have a lvl 25 lock. I mostly specialize in demonology. I went on this dungeon raid, and the leader was saying how a demonology shouldn’t even be a spec and such. Meanwhile, he’s a warrior… Anywho. He told me to look on google for a decent lock build, and demonoloy doesn’t seem that bad. It really helps in PvE(voidwalkers rock), and it totally improves my soul/health stones. Does anyone have any idea why he would call demonology useless? Thanks, D.

I cannot belive that none of you have even mentioned demo-metamorphasis which owns, and can get you out of EVERY tight situation, PvP or PvE!

Hello, I recently got into WoW and went Warlock and havent looked back… yet.
So Ive reached lvl 41 now in some days of playing and loving the warlock, but I used a Talent Tree Calc or whatever and made this Spec (which is what Im going for atm);

Afflication: 26

- Improved Curse of Agony 2/2
- Suppression 3/3
- Improved Corruption 5/5
- Soul Siphon 2/2
- Improved Fear 2/2
- Amplify Curse 1/1
- Grim Reach 2/2
- Empowered Corruption 3/3
- Shadow Embrace 5/5
- Siphon Life 1/1

Demonology: 3

- Demonic Embrace 3/3

Destruction: 42

- Improved Shadow Bolt 5/5
- Bane 5/5
- Aftermath 2/2
- Molten Skin 3/3
- Cataclysm 3/3
- Ruin 5/5
- Intensity 2/2
- Destructive Reach 2/2
- Backlash 3/3
- Improved Immolate
- Devestation 1/1
- Emberstorm 5/5
- Soul Leech 3/3

Can you (hopefully) skilled Warlocks see if this is a good spec, think the Spec is meant for PvP. hopefully I’ll recieve good “grades” on this spec by you folks. Fingers crossed.

PS: Sorry for bad english.

PSS: Im not planning on relying on Soulshards, demons or help from other players with this spec, just you and the enemies. Thats what its ment for, but if it works or not is a different story in another book =P
