What Is A Cheap Way To Level Up My WoW Enchanting Skill?

I’m a level 104 enchanter and I’m close to giving up, until I came up onto your site. I was wondering if you knew how I can get my enchanting up higher so that I can make enchants that people will want without spending all the gold I have.

As you are probably discovering right now is that leveling up enchanting is not a very cheap way to go compared to the other professions available. The good part is it can really pay off in the end once you can make all those WoW enchants that everyone is wanting right now. If you don’t have a lot of gold available there are a few things you can do in order to help keep the cost of leveling up your enchanting low but it does come at a price and that is the amount of time it will take to level up your enchanting.

It usually is easier to level up WoW enchanting whenever you are trying to level up an alt. That way you can send some gold over to the alt that will help out tremendously. Another great thing is having your main character go through lower level instances just to gather up green and blue items that can be disenchanted. I have done that and it really has saved me a ton of gold while trying to level up enchanting on my alt.

There is an addon that helps out a whole lot when trying to decide what to disenchant and will pretty much tell you what that item will disenchant into. The addon is called Enchantrix. This is a must for any enchanter and is now part of the Auctioneer suite of addons.

There are a couple of things you can do if you are leveling up your enchanting while leveling your character. The first and foremost thing you can do is disenchant everything that you do not need for yourself. This seems kinda basic but I am amazed at the number of people who try leveling up enchanting but don’t follow this basic guideline.

The next thing to do is look around at the different enchanting recipes that you have. Most of the time you will be able to find a recipe that will get you a skill point but costs half the materials of a different recipe so you can get twice as much from the same amount of materials.

Another thing you can do is to have your friends send you the green items that they don’t want or can’t use. Many times you will be able to get tons of green items that you can disenchant for mats from them.

Just remember that if you don’t really want to spend a lot of gold on enchanting it will cost you some time especially for farming and grinding. These are just a few tips to help get you started on your way to a profitable enchanting profession.

when you have 300+ enchanting its a good idea to buy many of the vendor recipes in outlands, some of them require only minimal mats but every1 wants the enchant, i didnt use a single piece of my own mats from 322 to 354 by simply selling these”hot” enchants, all i do was offer to do it for free if they brought their own stuff, if they didnt or werent willing to buy them off the AH i’d ask a quite high price making buy the AH stuff more attractive, because of this i now have a full enchanting mats bag and 375 skill for a total cost of whatever the few vendor recipes i bought were (100g worth in total if that)
