What Are Some Good WoW Rogue Leveling Tips?

I just started out playing a rogue and it really seems like it will be totally different than leveling up other classes. Do you have any good World of Warcraft rogue leveling tips for people that are new to rogues?

Rogues can be a whole lot of fun to play and yes, they are a really different class to play than the others available. That usually is a good thing since it can take out some of the boringness out of leveling and grinding. It helps to keep it real! :)

Anyway, here are some great tips that will help you out whenever you are leveling up your new rogue!

  • Using swords while leveling is usually a lot faster than other weapons.
  • Make sure you focus on getting Agility, +Crit % and Attack Power while leveling since these will help you deal more damage and take down mobs faster. Stamina is good as well but those other 3 take priority over it.
  • You really want to focus on doing quests until you hit around level 20 since questing at these lower levels is pretty much faster than just grinding.

Also here is a leveling build you should focus on as well while leveling your rogue:

Levels 10-11: Improved Sinister Strike 2/2
Levels 12-16: Malice 5/5
Levels 17-19: Improved Eviscerate 3/3
Levels 20-21: Ruthlessness 2/3
Levels 22-26: Lethality 5/5
Levels 27: Relentless Strikes 1/1
Levels 28-29: Ruthlessness 2/2
Levels 30 and beyond: You can focus on getting to Blade Furry if you want or you can also focus on other rogue cookie cutter builds from here. At this point it really is just about which you would really want to do for your rogue.

There’s a few tips that will be able to help you out whenever you are leveling your rogue. Some of these tips are pretty general and if you have been playing a rogue for a longer amount of time you may also want to check out this guide for a more detailed guide for your rogue.
