It doesn't hurt the game as much in the greater perspective of things. A very small fraction of a percent of players on WoW are actually involved in some way with the gold sellers. Also, I don't blame the gold sellers. The game was designed in such a way to allow gold sellers to start their businesses, therefore I think it is the game developer's responsibility to actually modify the game to enforce rules (and improve gameplay by doing so). Just imagine a simple game like Pac-Man... if the game developers had a wall you could walk through... and they made a rule like, "dont walk through this wall" who's fault is it that some players are 'cheating'?
