WoW PvP
World of Warcraft is a role-playing game that allows players to play remotely against each other or the computer. Game play against other players is often referred to as player versus player or PVP.
World of Warcraft PVP starts when a player enters a contested territory of game play. Players will play against other players in the other faction.
So, if a player is in the Alliance then they can square off against players in the Horde and visa versa.
When a player defeats another player in the World of Warcraft PVP mode they will earn Honor Points. Honor Points can be used as currency and allow a player to purchase rewards.
In some cases a reward can not be bought until a player fights in a certain battleground. It usually does not matter if the player wins or loses, since at least one point is rewarded for participation in the battle.
World of Warcraft PVP play also allows players to confront each other in an Arena. Arenas award Arena Points that work just like Honor Points. Arenas also allow for the end of season awards where players can earn unique epic or Legendary quality items. Titles are also rewarded through arena play. A player has to be level 70 or above to play in an arena.
World of Warcraft player versus player mode allows players to interact and take the game to a new level. WOW PVP brings a whole new dimension to the game and makes the competition more entertaining and challenging.
